Were you scared when you went to high school? How about grammar school? Did you have nightmares the night before about a tragedy becoming your reality the next day in math class? I sure didn’t. Sadly, today, these thoughts are creeping into the minds of school children across America. As a parent, this devastates me. No child should have to fear going to a place designed to better them both educationally and emotionally. Children should find a safe haven in schools where they can cultivate lifelong friendships.
